It is my pleasure to welcome you to Windham Middle School, a seventh and eighth grade school dedicated to our students, staff, and community. At WMS, we recognize each student as a unique individual, and our mission reflects that belief:
Windham Middle School faculty, staff, and students foster a diverse learning community where creativity and curiosity are encouraged, and student growth and development are supported as all students strive to reach their potential as lifelong learners.
This mission guides our daily work. We are committed to creating a school environment where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
Our educators are passionate about challenging each student to reach their full potential—emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Our classrooms are inclusive of all ability levels, and we offer both remediation and enrichment opportunities to meet individual needs. We strive to build a community of open-minded, curious, and engaged learners where everyone belongs.
Beyond academics, Windham Middle School offers a wide range of athletic programs and extracurricular clubs to enrich the student experience. Our school proudly holds state championship titles in soccer, volleyball, golf, and baseball. Our fine arts program shines through band, choir, and orchestra performances, while our art department hosts an active art club and showcases throughout the year. Our Lego Robotics team competes at the state level, and students can also explore interests through clubs such as baking, skiing, art, and Book Beat.
Windham Middle School remains a place where students can thrive, connect, and succeed. We encourage all students to be active members of their learning community, and we look forward to a wonderful school year ahead.
Kindly,
Brenda Morrow
